This script will set up your system for X.Org.
-
Typical steps to use this would be (as user 'dsl'):
                1. Install xorg72.uci and xorg72setup.tar.gz
                2. $ sudo xorg72setup.sh system
                3. Choose whether you have a PS/2 mouse or not
                4. $ xorg72setup.sh user
                5. Kill X if running ( i.e. ctrl+alt+backspace )
                6. $ cd ~; startx
-
                Explanation of script steps:
                2. Sets up your systems' /etc/X11/xorg.conf
                4. Sets up your users' ~/.xinitrc for libs
                   and ~/.xserverrc for startx

                Notes: - suggestions for configuring/detecting
                         mice/pointing devices are welcome
                       - this will probably also apply in newer
versions of DSL or XOrg mydsl extensions
                       - tested in DSL 3.3/3.4* (older releases will
require the full pathname to /opt/bin)
